Hebrews 1:2, 3,6,8  - "but in these least days he has spoken to us by his Son whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.  The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.  After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven….'Let all God's angels worship him...But about the Son he says, 'Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever.'"

Colossians 1:16,17 - "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.  He is before all things and in him all things hold together."


Luke 12:10 - "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."

Acts 5:3,4 - "Then Peter said, 'Ananius, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?……You have not lied to men but to God."


Acts 8:29 - The Spirit told Phillip, 'go to the chariot and stay near it."

Acts 13:2 - "While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.'"

Ephesians 4:30 - "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption."


Romans 15:6 - "so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."


Genesis 6:5,6 - "The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth has become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.  The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain."

John 17:1-5 - "Father, the time has come.  Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.  For you granted him authority over all the people that the might give eternal life to all those you have given him.  Now this is eternal life: that they many know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.  I have brought glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.  And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I have with you before the world began."

I John 2:1 - "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin.  But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense---Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."

John 14:15-17 - "If you love me, you will obey what I command.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."

Luke 22:32 - "But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail."

Romans 8:26,27 - "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.  And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will."


Romans 8:9-11 - "You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.  And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.  But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.  And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you."
