4. Jacob's Ladder, a type of Jesus Christ (Gen. 28:1-22; Jn. 1:51)

5. Judah (Gen. 49:10) (It is predicted that Jesus will be born in the line of Judah.)

12. The Cities of Refuge (Numb. 35; Hebr. 6:18)

Joshua; Judges; and Ruth
1. The scarlet cord in Rahab's window (Josh. 2:18-19, 21-25)  (The scarlet cord saved Rahab from judgment just as the blood of Christ saves us from judgment today.)

2. Circumcision (Josh 5:1-8)  (typical of how Christ will circumcise men's hearts. (Rom. 2:25-29; Col. 2:11-13)
