WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TEACH ABOUT HEAVEN?

We have God's word that His children will all join Him in Heaven.  If it is         actually a place and a certainty, then it is not "pie in the sky," nor is it a         "lie in the sky;" it is what we can rely on after we die!

It is indescribable in human terms!  It will be like nothing we have ever         seen: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him." (I Cor 2:9)

        It will be completely NEW!
NEW heaven and earth (II Pet 3:12,13; Rev 21:1)
                NEW Jerusalem (Rev 21:10)
                NEW you (like Jesus - I Jn 3:1,2; Rom 8:29; Eph 1:4; Phil 1:6)
NEW bodies (bodies by Jesus - Phil 3:20,21; Jn 20:19; Lk 24:36,
51; imperishable, powerful, and spiritual bodies - I Cor 15:35-

NEW relationship with God (Jn 17:24; Rev 21:3; I Thess 4:17)
                NEW clothes ( Rev 6:11)
                NEW knowledge (I Cor 13:12)
NEW joy (Isa 35:10; Ps 16:11)

        Good riddance!
NO changing light bulbs or power outages! (Rev 21:24)
NO bolt locks or guard dogs! (Rev 21:25)
                NO night! (Rev 21:25)
NO weeds or flies (Rev 22:3)
NO draughts, water rationing or bottled water (Rev 22:1,2; Ps 46:4)
NO water pollution and sewage systems (no sea - Rev 21:1)
NO more suffering and groaning (Rom 8:18; 22,23; II Cor 5:4)
NO more criminals, immorality, and Satanism (Rev 21:8, 27,
                        22:15)
NO more hospitals, nursing homes, funerals, and cemeteries
                        (Rev 21:4)
NO more hunger or thirst (Rev 7:16)

        It will be the GREATEST!
