- • Symbols of our uncleanness and God's plan for purification: that which is unclean physically, socially, and morally; cleansing symbolized through the sacrifices, by blood, the festivals, the cleansing of the priests, and other cleansing ceremonies (all give us insights and guidelines on how we who are unholy can gain and regularly experience fellowship with the true and holy God.
