Introduction to The Way Of The Cross

The CROSS discipleship course came from seeking to summarize the path of discipleship that God calls us to.  The vertical on the diagram summarizes what God has done for us and the horizontal summarizes what God desires that we do in response to what He has done for us.  God has met our intellectual needs-LIGHT, our emotional needs-LOVED, our spiritual needs-LIFE.   We now are to now to be willing to turn from self, to pay a price-CROSS, and to give our life for God's purposes-LOVE.  How can this material be used?  It can be used for a brief discipleship course, for a Sunday school class for all ages, for a Bible study, and for personal study.  It was well received by those I have taken through it.  The verses in the study provide a good list of Bible memory verses that cover the basics of following Christ on the way of the Cross.   Scripture taken from the HOLY BIBLE, NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION  ®  .  NIV  ®   Copyright  ©   1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society.
